Sandra Hewitt graduated from Indiana State University with a B.S. in Social Work.  Having worked a short time for the Juvenile Court system in Indianapolis, IN, she took 14 years off to be a stay-at-home mom.  She and her husband have raised four children who are now married and have blessed them with 15 grandchildren.

God called both Sandra and her husband, Tim, to full-time ministry.  Her role as a pastor’s wife has been one of support and encouragement, as well as teaching and mentoring.  Consistently active in church ministries, she has spearheaded many successful programs involving ladies, children and missionary assistance.

Sandra is ever mindful of the enormity and pressure on Pastors and their families as they seek to minister, through the power of the Holy Spirit, with compassion and empathy.  It is often a challenge, while serving in this manner, to maintain personal spiritual health and integrity rather than seeking approval of others. The value of encouragement from the sidelines should never be underestimated!  This booklet is intended to be a resource for that purpose.

In 2008, Tim and Sandra Hewitt founded Barnabas Enrichment Ministries as a means to encourage pastors of small churches. Having an acknowledged gift for organization and hospitality, as well as being trained in Biblical counseling, she is delighted to be an integral part of Barnabas Enrichment Ministries and eagerly looks forward to what God will continue to accomplish.
