Milan Baptist Church has had a long-standing priority of supporting missionaries and mission organizations, domestically and abroad. Records show that our Church devoted human and financial resources toward communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ through mission opportunities as far back as 1883; even today we support . . .
4 missionaries serving domestically,
7 serving internationally,
5 retired, and
5 mission organizations
using 10% of the Church budget.
In addition, Milan Baptist Church often has adults and youth participate in short-term mission opportunities. In 2018, for example, we had members serve in Argentina, Brazil, the Philippines, and domestically.
Praise God for these mission organizations and people as they sacrifice so much to share the Gospel with people around the world. May all of us claim every place we go as our mission field for Jesus Christ.
C4M (Christmas 4 Missions)
What is C4M?
C4M is a multi-week event where we ask everyone to pray over the possibility of giving a special offering over their normal giving, that would be split up amongst our missionaries at Christmas time
When can I give?
We are encouraging everyone to participate in Christmas in July! Although we encourage giving in the month of July, we can take any donations up to November since we won't send this gift until before Christmas
How do I give?
You can designate "C4M" on your tithe envelope, regular envelope, or on the designated line when you give online!
My child had a bank last year, are we doing this again?
We did send home the banks last year so feel free to encourage your child to do some extra chores and fill their banks again! If you are in need of another bank, please contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 734-439-8180. We will touch base about collection at a later date!
